Metalized Wood is a crafted material made by impregnating a base wood with a tin-bismuth alloy. It is characterized by its beautifully enhanced metallic grain and figure, as well as a remarkable sense of weight not normally associated with wood.

メタライズドウッドに使用している材料は、木材、錫、ビスマスのみです。錫は古来から食器として使用されるなど低毒性の金属として知られています。ビスマスもハンドメイド材料や水道部品の原料、化粧品原料としても使用されるなど、低毒性を活かして鉛の代替金属として使用されることが多い金属です。ただ、錫に関しては人によっては金属アレルギーの原因となります。ご注意ください。
The materials used in Metalized Wood are only wood, tin, and bismuth. Tin has long been known as a relatively low-toxicity metal and has historically been used for tableware. Bismuth is also widely regarded as a low-toxicity metal and is often used as a lead substitute in applications such as crafting materials, plumbing components, and cosmetic ingredients. However, please note that tin can cause metal allergies in some people.
